The New "New" in Signature Cocktails
Now you can go elegant and watch your budget for that all important Bridal Shower or Bachelorette. The signature cocktail is a super hot party trend that's here to stay.
Before you mix that first Cosmo, get creative! Dress up a predictable wine bar with color pizzazz using cocktail olives, onions, orange slices, cherries, and cute swizzle sticks or those little color-rich paper umbrellas. You'll be surprised at how many guests will munch these goodies with relish! Don't stop there, because color is always the key to high style. It's all in the presentation, ladies!
On your bar area, place small fancy dishes filled with carrots, cheese cubes, red bell pepper, tiny crackers like Pepperidge Farm Gold Fish, cocktail peanuts and sesame sticks. Light the area with candles, float gardenias in cut glass bowls (very affordable at online stores such as Target.com) and voila! You've created a romantic bar that looks like you spent oodles. See? You only need a few low-cost flourishes to add the interest and artistry icons like Rachel Ray and Martha Stewart use everyday!

Steal My Heart
INGREDIENTS
2 oz chocolate liqueur such as Godiva or Creme de Cacao
1.5 oz vodka
Hershey's Kisses
DIRECTIONS
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake well and pour into a chilled cocktail glass. Put a Hershey's Kiss in the bottom as Cupid's surprise!
Love to Love You, Baby
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 oz rum
2 oz cranberry juice
2 oz orange juice
DIRECTIONS
Pour all ingredients into a cocktail glass over ice. Stir and serve with an orange slice.
For Bachelorettes -- The Cosmopolitan!
INGREDIENTS
1 oz vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz Rose's® lime juice
1/2 oz cranberry juice
DIRECTIONS
Shake vodka, triple sec, lime and cranberry juice vigorously in a shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass, garnish with a lime wedge on the rim, and serve.
