1 (8 oz) package neufchâtel (light cream) cheese
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
¼ cup lemon juice
2-1/2 cups vanilla flavor low-fat yogurt
Beat neufchâtel cheese and sugar until well blended. Add remaining ingredients and beat until well blended. Refrigerate until mixture is thoroughly chilled.
Pour yogurt mixture into ice cream maker and freeze as directed by your ice cream maker. Serve softly frozen or ripen by freezing in an air-tight container until yogurt reaches the hardness you prefer.
Top with fresh berries.
