We saw these cookies in the King Arthur Flour baker's catalog and fell in love with these delightful morsels! The catalog has all the supplies and decorations for baking and fluffing up the lamb and bunny cookies.
Gather up the ingredients from the online catalog, schedule a baking party and brew some lavender tea. Your guests will have a lovely time decorating the lamb and bunnies. Simply order the cookie cutters, vanilla sugar cookie baking mix, edible sugar pearls, soft gel food colors and white icing mix from King Arthur Flour. No need to run out at the last minute since all the ingredients will be delivered to your door!
Add butter and egg to the vanilla cookie mix and you will be ready to roll out and cut the cookies. Place them on a parchment or silpat covered baking sheet to keep them moist and flavorful. Prepare the white icing mix while waiting for the cookies to bake and cool. Be sure to set aside 3-1/8 cup servings of icing to color with the gel colors: pink for the bows on the bunnies, black for hooves and ears on the lambs and a soft turquoise to ice the bunnies.
Once the cookies have cooled, spread the icing on the cookies and decorate with sugar pearls and dabs of icing for accents and let them dry.
