"Guess the Gift" – Mariska Hargitay does detective work
Mariska Hargitay, famous as Detective Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU, got the posh treatment at her baby shower! Seventy-five of her friends celebrated the stunning Mom-to-Be's baby boy at the trendy Soho Grand Hotel in New York City.
Her fun shower game? "Guess the Gift." Mariska asked her friends to bring a baby gift that was descriptive of themselves -- but not to put a name tag on it! The object of the game was for Mariska to identify the giver by analyzing the gift they chose!
Tamara Tunie, who plays Melinda Warner, forensic M.D. on Mariska super-hit series gave Mariska a Pittsburg Steelers outfit. Mariska figured this one out right away because Tamara was born and raised in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania!
Diane Neal, who stars as A.D.A. Casey Novak, gave Mariska a pair of Baby Pumas. Since Diane is an avid runner, you could say identifying Diane was a -- shoe-in.
Mariska's shower was a "blue" affair. That is the color blue for her baby boy! Everything from gifts, decorations and the cake carried out his singular theme.
