Around the Clock Shower Theme
A fun Baby Shower or Bridal Shower theme where each guest brings a gift for a certain time of the day!
Invitations
Start with these colorful 4-panel Baby Shower or Bridal Shower invitations at BadaBadaBingo Fun Games Co!
Inside, on the second panel, they say:

Let's shower Mom/her with gifts in an unusual way,
Something she can use for each hour in the day.
The third panel gives the time/date/location, etc.
Each invitation has a blank space for you to assign a different hour of the day to each guest, so be sure to fill out that portion of the invitation before mailing. Around the Clock Shower custom postage is available and the invitations come with coordinating stickers so it's very easy to give your envelopes a designer look.
Decor
Repeat the deep reds, oranges and golden beige from these trendy invitations in your decor. Collect red birds and clocks—vintage clocks would be especially nice—to scatter around the room. Tiny pots of tea lights will bring a twinkle to the occasion.
Bring the Around the Clock motif to the table by making coordinating napkins rings. Download our free napkin ring template and print on red paper. Cut out carefully and affix an Around the Clock Shower sticker to the center of the napkin ring. Wrap around rolled napkins and secure with a dot of glue.
For centerpieces, use bright red flowers in tall vases with a bit of orange and golden beige ribbon wrapped around the vase.

Create a CD full of songs that refer to time or clocks. OnlineClock.net has a list of 50 classic rock and pop songs that contain the word "clock" in their titles to get you started. HumanClock.com has a huge list of song that refer to time for more inspiration!
Menu
Try a nice cheese plate, Cherry Stuffed Tomatoes, shrimp cocktail, Sweet and Spicy Lettuce Wraps, Joan's Apple Dip, and assorted nuts along with Rompin' Razzbaby Punch and a selection of wines and/or coffee and iced tea. Bake a Champagne Cake or have your favorite bakery whip up their specialty for dessert.
Games
- Play games where "time is of the essence." For instance, at a Baby Shower you might play Baby Draw, and ABC Baby Word Game or Baby Name Race. At a Bridal Shower, try Bridal Word Scramble, Fill in the Blanks, or Finish the Sentence.
- Play Speed Bingo. Speed Bingo is played just like regular Baby Bingo or Bride Bingo, but the numbers are called very quickly. Some people even allow three in a row to win during Speed Bingo. This allows the group to get through more games so if you play this way, be sure to order extra prizes.
- Play One Word. This easy-to-learn game is sure to start everyone laughing. Teams race the clock to come up with one answer for two different sentences. Did you ever think of matching up a part of a house and the noise a dog makes? Roof! That's One Word. The team with the most correct answers wins so award them a prize!

Thank You Cards
Co-oridinating Thank You Notes are available online from BadaBadaBaby.com or BadaBadaBride.com. Help the Guest of Honor send her thank yous in a timely manner by playing "envelope raffle." As guests arrive, ask them to pre-address a thank you note envelope and place the completed envelopes into a basket. Once everyone is at the party with a refreshing beverage in hand, ask the Guest of Honor to draw one envelope out of the basket and award that guest a gift. The real winner will be the Guest of Honor because she doesn't have to hand address envelopes when she writes her thank you notes!
Diva Tip: When the Guest of Honor opens gifts, have someone write which gift was given by each guest on the inside flap of their thank you note envelope. That way, the Guest of Honor will know what she received from each guest. Once the envelope is sealed, no one will even see your notation!
