I am the maid of honor at my sister's wedding. My Aunt is planning on throwing her a bridal shower already. I am in the process of planning her bachelorette party as well. I want to do something else for my sister, but I do not want to throw her another bridal shower. When I got married she threw me a "ladies party", I do not want to do the same thing for her. Do you have any ideas for me?

How wonderful that your sister is getting married. Let's think of creative ways to show you care about her.
How about treating your sister to a Spa Day? Check with local day spas in your area for what specials they offer. Most spas these days offer a bride's beauty day that includes massage, facial, mani-pedi, jacuzzi, steam room, hot tub soak, etc. See if the spas you like allow for champagne or sparkling wine to be brought in and served. If so, pack up a decadent spa snack pack of champagne, strawberries, whipped cream, and Sees chocolates. If food and drink aren't doable at your day spa, finish your day by taking your sister to her favorite restaurant or head back home for that champagne and strawberry feast. Throw on some of her favorite tunes or pop in a DVD to watch if you and she want a low-key evening. If your sister likes lots of people around, have some of her closest friends over for the evening after your spa day. Sharing laughter and jokes with the girls is the perfect stress buster. The closer she gets to her wedding day, the more she's going to appreciate the comfort and the camaraderie.
